Mission Statement: The Ellington’s Board of Directors is the steward of the assets and interests of the Owner’s Association. As such, the board makes decisions which result in a facility that is well run, maintained to the highest standards, appropriately insured against risk, and able to capture maximum appreciation in the marketplace.

Mike Bryan – President
Mike is an original owner and a retired Boeing executive, test pilot, and Senior Technical Fellow. His piloting career spanned 40 years, including airshow flights in 12 countries, in seven different types of jet aircraft, as well as over 300 aircraft carrier landings (as a Naval Aviator). He enjoys golf, photography, and brewing beer.

John Spady – Vice President
John has been a resident at the Ellington since 2005. He also serves on the family board of Dick’s Drive-In Restaurant. Both John and his wife Tatyana enjoy their three grandchildren and their occasional opportunities for international travel. John is an avid Amateur Radio Operator and is a member of the Seattle Auxiliary Communications Service. Outreach from Ellington residents is always welcomed!

Marc Litvinoff – Secretary
Marc and his wife have lived in the Ellington since July 2023. His career has spanned finance, technology, and politics, with a focus on company turnarounds and acquisitions. Marc is an avid traveler and photographer, having visited 74 countries and all 50 states.

Sterling Morris – Member at Large
OSU grad, Navy vet – stationed San Diego/Seattle/Japan. Spent 28 years with Qwest/Century Link as software development mgr. Retired 2002.
Board Experience: – 5 years on the board of Issaquah Village Theatre, currently on board of The Seattle Series, a chamber music concert series in its 3rd year, board of Companis, a non-profit that serves non profits.
Lastly I have served on the Ellington Board of Directors for 24 years in every capacity except treasurer.

Jun Hata – Treasurer
Jun and his wife have lived in the Ellington since April 2001. He has worked in Financial Planning & Analysis, Strategic Planning, and Manufacturing Operations over a 30 year career at Microsoft and Motorola. He enjoys outdoor activities and hopes to run a half marathon this year.
